Urban Monkey Never Bites

What comes in your mind if someday you come across group of monkeys in front of you, first one could be that a surprise and sudden bite can come from any direction, but there is an exclusive place in Delhi left for only monkeys where no monkey had bitten any human during last 8 years as claimed by a banana vendor who’s destiny is to sell banana to humans who wants to feed the monkey’s for fun, thrill or due to astrologer advice.

The lane officially named as Simon Bolivar Street if practically encroached by the monkeys who spend their full day on this street without harming any human or some free roaming cows and bulls.

One end of this monkey street has all the embassies where you will find queues for visa application and also those foreign nationals on work permit and at other end of street airport metro can be seen flashing fast, but these friendly monkeys are not aware neither they care about these places as they have no idea about facility of travelling to other country.

The location also known as monkey place and monkeys forest as per the google maps does not have even a single stall, shop or office but street is always busy with moving vehicles who rarely stop to feed the monkeys, it would be a good idea to walk on street to enjoy the natural portraits of these monkeys groups who are always either eating or relaxing with their joint family free of any tensions and desires, you can also visit this street for a memorable walk before sunset, do check the big eyes of small monkey babies and do not even think about touching them as their parents are extremely protective about their beautiful kids.
